urgent question about roommate prompt

Hi all, for the Stanford roommate prompt, do you think I'd be penalized if the response assumes that I already know the roommate? Like know as in, we've hung out at Stanford a bit and I leave the note in the room for the roommate to see while I'm gone. It covers some of the things we've done together (stuff I enjoy and can show my personality through) along with things to come.

Like when I read "future roommate" I didn't associate that with necessarily meaning we haven't met yet, rather that this is a FUTURE note that's being written to my roommate...

help.

@boxofdonuts. Yes. You can approach the question that way. There is no right or wrong way to approach this famous Stanford roommate question. Make it your own…genuine, real, honest, personal…and allow your interesting and unique personality to come through. Good luck!
