Urgent question! AEM major + PE requirement

<p>So in the CALS requirements, it says that you can't have more than 1 S-U class per semester. For AEM freshmen though, Intro to AEM is required and it's a S-U class. they expect you to take a PE class the 1st 2 semesters at cornell, so does this mean that PE doesn't count toward the "only 1 S-U class" rule or do AEM majors have to take PE their sophomore year?</p>

<p>PE is purely credit/no credit, so I believe it shouldn’t conflict with the CALS requirement. But I’m a hotelie, so I’m not 100% sure. On the other hand, my roommate was an AEM major and he took bowling both semesters, so you should be fine.</p>
