Urgent question- dual degree/applicant portal

Hey, so I just applied ED to Penn's Jerome Fisher M&T program with my second choice as Bioengineering. I received my information for the applicant portal and it said, next to my name, "The Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology". This appeared for about a couple days, but now it has changed to Bioengineering.

Is this an error?

Does this mean I have been rejected from M&T and am being considered for my second choice program? (this is unlikely because the deadline is still 3 days away and I had submitted my application a week earlier) I don't think they would have been able to review my application and reject me in a couple of days...

Finally, are you first considered for the normal degree program, and then your applications goes to the M&T admissions officers?

Thanks in advance for the replies!

No. First M&T, then second choice:

Ok sorry jump into your thread, but what does your application portal show?
Mine says this:

My Application Materials
Decision Reply Not Satisfied
Enrollment Deposit Not Paid

Is that normal?

Mine says… "Due to processing delays with Common Application data, Application/Writing Supplement tracking is currently unavailable in the Applicant Portal. We are working to have this feature activated as soon as possible and will post updates here and on our website. "

I don’t have the “My applicant materials” tab…

It might be that you’ve been rejected, but it seems way too early since they’ve extended the deadline to Monday  Maybe email them to check?

See thats what I thought, but then why are they asking for an enrollment deposit?

You’re applying through Questbridge right? (I think I’ve seen you post that on other threads) that might explain why yours is different from everyone elses

Alright, thanks! I’ll email them! But I seriously doubt that they would’ve started reviewing applications and making decisions this early o.O

Yeah! You never know though, because they have to get through the dual-degree applicants first before they work on the regular applicants

@alakaxam356 Yea, I am, maybe thats why?
I think im just causing myself necessary stress, im going to just pray for the best

Did you select your second choice (bioengineering) as ED as well? Because it’s possible that you may have been accepted into your second choice ED instead.

I don’t think it would have anything to do with an acceptance. It just means that she (he?)'s being considered for that degree

IT CHANGED BACK TO M&T! So I’m guessing it was just a glitch or something! But thanks guys for the responses!

Mine changed back too!
