URGENT: Sending in Letter of Recommendation from Principal

Hey everyone,

My principal wrote me a letter of recommendation for college, however my guidance counselor already sent in his letter of recommendation, my transcript, my secondary school report, etc.

Does anyone know how I would go about sending in this extra letter of recommendation to the colleges I am applying to?

The letter specifically states to (Blank) Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, etc., RE: My Name, and has my school and other relevant information in the header.

Would the undergraduate admissions offices know to put the recommendation in my file with this information if I send the letters to each undergraduate admissions office?

yes you can definitely still send it- have him seal it and sign across the envelope, then mail it directly to the admissions office. make sure you include your personal info (name address etc) so that they can add it to your file
that said tho, i wouldnt send the letter unless you know it reallyyy adds something to your profile. adcoms generally hate to get useless piles of letter after letter, and too many can actually hurt you
but GL!

Thanks for the reply. I’m having him sign the letters, but he’s asking me to send them out. It’s my only extra recommendation, and I believe I’m the only student who he’s writing a recommendation for, so that will hopefully communicate a lot.
