Principal Letter of Recommendation

Hey Guys,

I'm planning to apply to Stanford University and need to start getting those letters of recommendations out to my teachers and guidance counselors. There are 5 forms i know to give to people in 5 envelopes. The Mid-Year Report, Secondary School Report, 1st Teacher Reference Form, 2nd Teacher Reference Form, and the Optional Reference Form.

I was wondering for the secondary school report since it says on it "To the Principal or Counselor" how you would submit this to your principal. My principal knows me very well at my school, for good things of course :), and I believe that he could write me a better letter of recommendation than my guidance counselor, who just became my guidance counselor a little over a year ago.

If anybody has any input as to how I should go about getting my letter of recommendation from my principal, please post, and fast, as I need to get these envelopes out. December 15th is approaching fast!

Thanks

Book an appointment with your principal and talk to him? I'm not sure if that's the answer you are looking for..

I agree with the above post, just make an appointment and tell them your situation and that you would be greatful if they wrote you a recommendation. Good luck :)
