I am currently a freshman at a top 10 school in the country (Forbes rankings). It is a small liberal arts college. As excellent as the academics are I already feel suffocated and think that I may want to transfer to a larger school, maybe even a large state school.

MY QUESTION:::: My ideal situation would be to have the opportunity to transfer to a new school and enter as a "freshman" or at least have the first year experience. Is this possible?? I have heard of this happening at small liberal arts colleges like Middlebury but how about schools like Auburn, Clemson, Colgate, Elon etc...

I know that most schools usually have pretty solid standards for transfer students, but at the same time i can appreciate (not to sound cocky) that i can be considered an "asset" or a "steal" for many colleges. Considering that i go to such a prestigious school, my varsity athlete status, 33 ACT, etc..
