So if I were going to retake the SAT, I would want to do it in March, which requires me signing up by tomorrow (deciding today). But I am still unsure whether or not to retake it! (My parents don't really want me to.)
I'm a junior.
My current SAT is:
690 math, 760 reading, 790 writing (2240 superscore)
and my current ACT is:
33 composite (35 english, 32 science, 30 math, 33writing and 10 essay)
SO this all being said, I don't know whether or not I need to retake the sat. obviously if I did, it would be because of my math score. I am looking at top colleges and merit aid at other schools... So I don't know. I'll do subject tests in June.
I really don't want to retake the SAT unless it's super necessary, but I'm a bit worried about math. The other thing is that I'm not sure I'd be able to do better on math. I studied last time for it, and didn't do as well as I'd predicted...
ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREAT!

Wait for scores to come out, pay the late fee if necessary, if the parents complain, tell them that you will do extra work around the house.

Your score can make all the difference, it’s one of the many tipping points in a college application, but right now I would say you’re fine, a 33 or a 2240 can get you into Yale with a 4.0 GPA and brilliant EC’s…it’s all about how you present yourself.

Best of luck.

Thank you! I’ll need it haha
