<p>BTW: if you happen to “miss” the deadline, do you think the college will reject your application? YES, they state they need your app to be in. But they spend $$$$$ to get great applications. Will they just auto-reject you? Is there a big bonfire for materials not postmarked by Jan 01?</p>

<p>Just get it in but it’s not a Mayan apocalypse reprise if you miss the deadline.</p>

<p>I like the Mayan apocalypse reference. Of course, since I am still able to read your post then perhaps missing the Common App deadline is like the Mayan apocalypse since neither will cause the world to end.</p>
