Urms at Honors Colloquium at UT?????

Hi, this is my first time posting, but I have been lurking around for quite some time. NE wayz I was recently invited to attend the Women in engineering and Honors Colloquium programs. But I dont know much about them. My question is: Has anyone attended or have any inside information about these programs?? Are they worth ?? Im totally in love with engineeering, so will attending these look good on my resume to show some interest in the engineering field. Thanxs in advanced for all the info.

My daughter attended the Honors Colloquium two years ago. She enjoyed some of the seminars, some she didn't. She thought the purpose was more to recruit students to apply for the UT honors and Plan II programs.

The Women in Engineering program will probably be more interesting to you, given your interest.

i went and it was a lot of fun. the classes were interesting. you get to live in a dorm for a couple nights. lots of free time at night to hang out in the lobbies.

I got three free t-shirts at the Honors Colloquium. That's pretty much all that stands out to me. It was fun, but didn't really leave a lasting impression.

Did any of you who went to the Honors Colloquium in the past apply to or get accepted to UT? Anyone receive scholarships?

I was accepted to UT with the normal National Merit scholarship.
