Okay, so I have limited time to pick between the two and I need some suggestions. I'm undecided, but am probably going to declare Biology as my major later on. I either want to go into marine/some other animal science or something like biopharmaceutical engineering/medicine. I really want to go to Lehigh based on the students, campus, research opportunities and how good they are in engineering and sciences. However, they don't have marine sciences and don't have much that focuses on animals, like a zoology course. Ursinus essentially is the opposite, yet has some courses that involve medicine, but not the engineering factor. I don't really want to go to Ursinus, but it has a wider range of what I might want, even though some of the courses are not as in depth as I'd want them to. I also want the school with the most flexibility in class choices and major changing. I've heard Lehigh is really flexible, but haven't heard much about Ursinus, have any of you?
Which one would be the better choice?

We looked at Ursinus for one of my sons. Sciences is a strong area and feedback from students is that the program is quite rigorous. Their campus is quite nice and the town is lovely.

Overall, Lehigh is considered more rigorous with more accomplished students attending.

I am an Ursinus grad. I love the school, but I have to say you should go to Lehigh.

So many change their major that it is more important for you at this stage to be in the environment you like most. You clearly like Lehigh better.

You will not find a slew of in depth animal/bio courses at most LACs. Instead of focusing on an animal/bio course you could focus on bio courses with summer internships related to animal studies.

Feel free to pm me if you want more info on Ursinus.

Wise comments above, but note that Lehigh has a rep for heavy drinking.
