Nothing about man is actually natural at all. We've transcended into societies and civilizations that take us out of nature.

And of course, just like every other conservative in the world, you say you care, but absolutely don't. Of course we can't teach a man to fish if there isn't any public funding for schools, and it would be hard between prayer and recess as well.

Conservatives have a traditional mindset? No, they have more of an obligatory mindset. They stick with the status quo, regardless of what's going on. They adapt to the liberal world, become the liberals of a century ago, and continue on. It doesn't change until they're force to. They follow along, only to find their situation a lot better, but believe its cause of policies from a presidency 10 years in the past.

I guess cancer treatment tends to be a newer term in human history compared to other disciplines of medicine such as prayer.

Everything about man is natural as we are products of nature. Even though we live in civilized world, doesn't mean we are out of nature. Saying such is like saying groundhogs aren't with nature because they have systems of underground tunnels or hippos aren't with nature because they form herds. We are still humans and still fall under and obey the laws of nature, so we are again part and a product of nature.

I do care, I would say in a argument to yours that Liberals really could care less. They preach and force a welfare state which gives up liberties and created a dependence on government. Man was meant to be free, not controlled and forced into doing what one doesn't want to do. I have read the constitution many times over, and I still cant seem to find anywhere where the word education appears. H mm, maybe the founding fathers, relized federally regulated education is a bad thing, thus why we are no where near the top in the world, while supposedly being the worlds current only super power. We are a nation of idiots. The American citizen does nothing anymore, everything great in America is by immigrants which has been true throughout our History.

The word conservative is defined as
disposition in politics to preserve what is established
To preserve what is established. It doesn't mean that we don't or don't want to change, it simply means we question changes and would rather change slower than radically. You mention the presidency of 10 years past, if you are referring to Bush, well he again as I have said many times is not a conservative. Hes a neoconservative which has ties much closer to liberalism that to traditional/fiscal conservatism.

Want a good argument against Welfare, watch CNN's Black in America and then if you can read from prominent black conservatives like Bill Cosby, Larry Elder and Shelby Steele. Welfare has solely destroyed the black nuclear family in America, forced and increased racism onto black males and made them completely irrelevant as a father. Welfare doesn't help people, well i should change that, and instead say it doesn't help those whom it was intended to help, but it does greatly help those created and sponsor such a system or state.

I must also say that I do believe in helping people. Just not in the way of giving money to the government for them to redistribute. I believe in local charities and sponsor groups that help the local area. A recent publication by the Hudson group showed Americans give more on top of taxes than the government gives from taxes all together. So all the money our government gives out, the American citizen still gives more than that, and that sum that they give does not include their taxes. I again believe in Small government with no income tax or any tax for that matter except excise taxes. Im pretty sure if you have people back 30-50% of their income, they would be pretty willing to give more away.

But hey if you want the big government and the all of the corruption that goes with it, that's cool to. Its your opinion, and its fine and I respect it.
