US colleges for exchange

Hey everyone,

I'm going to apply to exchange for one semester to a US school next year. Can anyone help me rank the universities I can apply to? I'm 22 years old, first year student doing a three year bachelor's in finance so primarily thinking about the business schools. I don't care if the school is a party school or not, about the football team or anything like that. What I care about is connections, reputation, standard of teaching, the one that looks good on a resume.

A list of US unis for exchange:

Michigan State University
Pace University
San Diego State University
University of Minnesota
University of North Dakota (UND)
University of Texas at Arlington
University of Texas at Austin
University of Utah
Western Michigan University

The ones looking good to me so far are San Diego State, University of Texas at Austin(McCombs) and Pace University because its in New York.

Thanks for any help in advance! Its greatly appreciated :) Your opinions on each university would be appreciated too.

Bump, anyone? :)

You need to wait more than 15 minutes for the experts to answer :)

UT- Austin should be at the Top of your list.

UT-Austin and UMN-Twin Cities have the best business schools, probably followed by MSU and Utah. TX is the global hub for the oil/gas industry and MN was substantially settled by Scandinavian immigrants, so both of those locations have some relevance to you as a Norwegian.

How exactly does this program work? I am kind of doubtful that you will benefit much from a resume standpoint by attending a better business program on exchange - your degree from your home institution will be the key factor.
