I planned to take World History AP next year, but 3 of our school's history teachers are leaving and the World History AP teacher will not be replaced. Now I will take either US Government AP or Economics AP. I'd like to major in engineering in college and maybe minor in economics. Would Econ AP be a good class for me then? Does anybody know which AP test is more difficult? Also, I heard Economics was more math related (at least moreso than US Govt. or WHAP)...which would be great for me as I love math. Is that true?

microeconomics has a lot more solutions while macroeconomics is much more theoretical and "big picture". us gov has no math but class is really fun since the discussions are pretty interesting. im currently taking both and love both. really, u need to be able to operate a calculator as math requirements go. go with econ if ur going to minor in it. could be a good headstart or make u realize u dont like it. kind of a win-win IMO.

Our economics is described as a course that follows the AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics cirricula....whatever that means. I guess depending on the teacher I'll go with that.
