US HISTORY 2014 November (International)

So how well did you do guys? Let's discuss the questions.

It was …tough

Yeah, I agree. I missed 9 questions. Hope we have a lenient curve

It seems to repeat 2013 October(US) test.

Duke Ellington—Jazz
Carry A.Nation—Prohibition
trend for sharecroppers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries—gradual decline
A group of people in which man and woman live separately but have sam leadership position in church—Quaker? Miller
Ida B.Wells
Immigration Decade Question(Depression’s impact)—30s
Pershing’s pursuit of Vera Cruz: Transcendentalism
Clinton—Health Care
25%
W.E.B. Dois

Those are what I can remember.

what did you do for the painting in which the slaves were being pointed to a ship, but not the women and the children? I did something like injustice and hypocrisy…because you could see the white house in the background

same leadership position in church and living separately? arent these shakers? <a href=“Shakers - Wikipedia”>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakers

@johnversussat‌ what did you answer for that map based question? in which they asked us for the slave states? I did 4 and 5. 4 looked like Texas and 5 like Missouri…

The same questions from the international test discussed above appeared on the US test today.

What was the question with Ida B. Wells and wasn’t it less than 10% for people who owned 20+ slaves?

I agree. I choose hypocrisy and injustice.

@cocochanel123 It’s Shakers because it mentioned celibacy

@johnversussat‌ +1

@cocochanel123‌ it was 4 and 5: Texas and Missouri

Women and men living separately. That is definitely shakers. I also chose transcendentalism. Southerns who owned more than 20 slaves. I answered 10 percent because most of people did not even have slaves. But i am not sure.

What is the first state to be admitted after original 13? I googled it now and it appears that was Vermont. But i dont remember seeing Vermont as an answer choice on the test. Or am i wrong :(

@johnversussat‌ what was the question with Ida B. Wells? I dont remembering choosing answered with that name. oh boy this is getting real bad :(

with Duke Ellington. the answer was the first answer right? involving jazz

Harding and Coolidge’s common policy? What was the answer to that question. I chose sth like involved with reparation

@penguiny Lower taxes for businesses? Republicans favored businesses back then.
