US History Study Tactict Help

SEMI URGENT LOL
okay so i have been studying a lot for this test but i have not gotten to all of my material. i am currently at World War I-II in my review though I have a little problem. I never really learned Post World War II stuff. Although I feel I have a semi firm grasp of the material from prior knowledge, but not great (i would definitely have to study). I planned this morning on skipping some material to cram that vietnam cold war etc stuff before the exam in two days. that was until this afternoon, when I was told by a senior that for him World War II, the depression, etc etc plays a "HUGE" role in the test and that it is worth sacrificing other stuff, and that more modern stuff is typically left out...
to some it up, should i prioritize the 1900-1945 or 1945-now, given that i currently know more on the earlier of the two topics but want to put emphasis on what will most likely be on the test.
i really really really hope i made sense because i think i confused my self!!
thanks
