nobody has a problem with him promoting his school. that's only natural especially if he works for the admissions office. surprise, surprise!

i do have a problem with his intelligence but that's a story for another forum and i only note it here in passing though i am sure everyone can judge for himself/herself. only a bonehead will jump into a discussion saying "guys, don't bother arguing with owugenius" when the argument is about lack of diversity of opinions itself. ironic? on the note of intelligence, how can one be so ********* stupid and say "I've presented pretty hard evidence" and then post the stats for wesleyan right after a discussion about how homogenous the school is showing that...there is so much political diversity there because there is, OMG...hold your breath...............4% conservatives at connecticut's wesleyan!!! can you imagine? 4%?!?

however, he doesn't stop here. he goes on to say "run it for any top northeast private school and I doubt it'll be drastically different".

guess what? ask your friends to run it for middlebury, cornell, princeton, colgate, jhu, etc or all sorts of other "northeast" school and you shall be surprised.

he goes a step furher and says "what kind of politics do you think most of them will have" if the kids are from new england and urges me "to think about it" (as if otherwise i wouldn't have done it).

does anyone really intelligent will claim that every single person from new england, even the average kid from new england, la, etc, who goes to a private school in new england, will be liberal just because he or she happens to live in a blue-state? if anything you'd expect these kids to be from high-income families because they go to expensive schools and hence, much more likely to be conservative!

and finally he tops it all off with a personal attack in which he forgets to post my ***** size, ssn and something that as stud05 noted could qualify as internet stalking...

the list goes on.......but i seriously have better things to do with my time than to demonstrate how vulnerable just about every single argument that he makes is. your arguments won't fly high in grad school with this level. i do wish you the best of luck, xmatt/john wesley
