Anyone have it yet?

For 2006, Harvard is number 1.

it supposed to come out on the eighteenth I thought...

Princeton #1 this year, Harvard and Yale #2.

not true, just checked, harvard and princeton tied for number 1, yale number 2

that was this year's us news ranking. the new one comes out friday or at least thats what everyone's saying in the other forum.

anybody think Penn is ever gonna crack the top 3? or are HYP invincible?

No one thinks Penn seriously deserves the spot it's in now, let alone anything above 3.

lol that's what I was thinking but it's been moving up for awhile.

I think it's topped out and is going to move down this year. Don't hate me Penn people!

I'm looking for Stanford to ascend to its deserved four spot.

I wonder how Duke's rank's gonna reflect that lacrosse mess...

Most of the USNews criteria are objective numerical data (and a pretty good weighted formula for overall quality I think, to the extent that such a thing is possible). It's too early to see if the lacrosse scandal impacted first-year retention rates and it happened too late in the year to impact their applicant pool. The only thing that it could affect this year would be the peer assessment rating, and I'd expect most administrators from other universities to be somewhat sympathetic to what the Duke administration has had to handle over the past year.

Read a post not long ago and ir said that this year's top 4 are:

1) Princeton; 2) Harvard/Yale; 4) CalTech. ...

yup that's what I heard too!

zzzz,
do you have a link to the information about the new rankings?

No, I don't. Someone just posted it and I am sure that guy was working on the project. It will come out in a few days.

Wow guys, if you are concerned enough with US News rankings to try to predict them....Good Luck to you all.

Princeton at #1 sounds very fitting... though I can't say I agree with their methodology... it seems that just about the only thing they DON'T evaluate is the quality of the education. Ohh well... kinda curious to see if my school ties with Brown again... or, as it deserves, edges them out lol.

I thinn UCLA might crack top 20 this year that school is sick. They sure know how to play basketball out in Cali.

Damn i misspelled "think", I know you nerds are going to be all over me for that
