US vs Singapore for Comp Engineering??

For an undergraduate degree in computer Engineering, what would you recommend?

NUS or NTU in singapore

OR

Universities like UIUC and Carnegie Mellon in the US?

Your opinion will be appreciated...

NUS may be worth it, but it depends on where you want to go. i’m applying to NUS and US universities too and I have the same dilemma. but if you get into carnegie mellon, that may be a better choice than NUS. keep in mind that carnegie mellon does not offer ANY financial aid to international students and it’s 52k per year. but NUS is closer to india, and it’s perfectly respectable, and has a very high employer review score.

NTU i’m not so sure about, because NUS is definitely more prestigious, so in my opinion at least it should be NUS if you’re looking to go to singapore.
