Well, I was disappointed after the game. But as I thought about it, I remembered that at the beginning I didn’t think we had a chance at medaling, let alone going to OT in the gold medal game. Nothing to be ashamed of here.

They also proved that they didn’t get lucky the first time. They may not have won this time, but they gave Canada quite a game.

^ I agree 100%. I didn’t think USA had a chance in hell of winning this game. I thought Canada would come out looking for revenge and just totally dominate the USA. That didn’t happen. They proved something to me today.

To lose in the way that the US did was very disappointing considering that the US had already beaten Canada one week prior and that it may have seemed that the entire world was against them for those long two weeks. If the tournament had been in a different part of the world, I believe that the results may have been different.

I am extremely disappointed but the US has far greater hockey prospects than any other nation in the world considering that the US consistently wins the world championships in the younger divisions (U20, U18).

As for Vancouver, it is in a beautiful geographic area but I certainly would not wish to live there considering the drug trafficking and the Canadian government, in general.
