<p>You need to have more than that. USAMO alone will not get you into a top school. You need to be well-rounded, and they look at much more than your grades and SAT scores. Your ECs and essays are important as well. Admission officers build a class; they don't just admit the best of the best, because if they did, everyone on campus would be overachieving robots preprogrammed to excel on tests. They want good and interesting people. </p>
<p>Just a tidbit, a good half of international medalists were rejected from MIT EA this year. We're talking about the ICho, IPho, etc here.</p>
