I got accepted in usc’s school of engineering for petroleum engineering and i want to go there but I was wondering if it is worth the price?
You will be full pay then? What are you other options? Did your family save for such an expense or will there be debt? This is a personal family decision. I think you can go to many colleges that cost a lot less for that degree.
Consider that being unemployed after graduation is a significant possibility. Oil prices aside, do oil companies even recruit at USC?

Many analysts are predicting prices to stay low for years bcause of oversupply and softening global demand. A nuclear deal w Iran will further flood the market with oil.
