So I just uploaded my appeal on USC connect but I had to upload the cover sheet and the actually letter of appeal separately, one at a time. Is that the way you guys had to do it too? I just want to make sure they get everything together…

@jlif93. hmm no i uploaded both as one document. there was only the option to upload one file on my USConnect so i’m not sure how you did that. i’m sure they got both parts, but if you want to make sure, i would call the admissions office in a few days and ask! :)

submitted my appeal online and sent a copy to admissions just in case! so happy and excited, just like when i applied! good luck to everyone, stay positive, and don’t worry! i

So which school have you guys accepted in the meanwhile?

just checked my USConnect and appeal of admission shows up under recieved documents! that happened a lot faster than in previous years haha when the appeal would never show up in the documents secton! ahh 4 more weeks…I hate long waits!

Just wanted to let you guys know to not give up! I got into usc with a 1670 SAT score and with a 4.0 GPA. Test scores don’t always matter. You just have to let yourself shine and show your true identity and make sure you’re very passionate and dedicated (My extra curricular activities helped I think). Best of luck to your appeal. I’m appealing to UC Berkeley and if I don’t get in I am becoming a Trojan :)

Yeah they told me i could submit an additional portfolio for my appeal but the thing is when i uploaded it it uploaded in black and white and they said that’s how it scans. i knew i should have dropped it off >.<

Anyway what schools did you guys commit to otherwise?

Washington University in St. Louis

Most likely UC Berkeley, but I still might consider transfering from a cc for financial reasons lol

University of Oregon Honors! UCLA was too expensive. Plus I don’t want to be a Bruin :)

Dude i committed to the U of Oregon too (the school of architecture and allied arts)! wow haha

@designed2succeed Haha sweet! Let’s hope both of our appeals succeed but if not, I’ll see you on campus next fall!

19 more days guys…!

I got into Georgetown but I’m from CT and I’ve loved the west coast ever since I was a little kid. When I visited SC, after like 10 minutes of walking around campus I was just like “This is me.” No other school even compares…

hey I am a current spring admit at USC and I appealed! I suggest that you guys who live out here come to the school and personally meet with your counselor! He basically made it happen for me when he met me. I had to write a letter and email it to him I found out about a week later and I got my acceptance package in the mail like two days later.

Key thing: put a face to the name!!!

I hope this helps! Oh and I had a 3.7 at my previous college and I interviewed twice!

Thank you @quebueno3 for your advice! I wish I lived close by…I definitely would have met up with my counselor.

@quebueno3 how did you set up the meeting with your counselor? I called and they said they don’t do that.

14 daysssss…this wait is killer!

I agree. I can’t meet them and they won’t let me drop a color version of my portfolio.

One week left :/
