Is there anyone who can give me a little bit of hope or reassurance?! I know this sounds really stupid and careless, but I submitted my USC app last week, and I realized that I accidentally submitted my UCLA personal statement instead of my real USC essay. I think I'm probably already going to get rejected, but is there anyone who knows whether or not they will allow you to fax/mail the real essay? And if yes, what would I have to write to them? THANK YOU VERY MUCH if any of you guys can help me out here.

wow. oh man, lmao. sorry but thats funny....because i spoke to a councelour at usc about this and she told me that this often happens to many prospective students. usually this happens to high school seniors rather than college transfers and i was told usc does not take this kindly. sorry but thats what i was told.

Yeah, I think it's horribly funny too. And I wouldn't take it kindly either. I had a really well written essay, too! Oh well, I've learned my lesson. Now I have to be SPECTACULAR on my music audition. =(

Why don't you call them about it? They might let you send in the USC essay.
