USC application Quick notes section

"Please answer all of the following in one sentence or less (sometime even one word will suffice). There are no right or wrong answers to these questions. We hope you will have as much fun filling this in as we will reading it!"

Do you think that they would think of it as creative or immature and vague if I put these as my answers?

Describe your self in three words
five foot five

Role Model?
Lindsey Lohan (well, actually Sally Ride, but that certainly opened your eyes)

Most Prized Possesion?
Currently my "Trust Snape" Bumper sticker because I was right (oops, hope that doesn't ruin the seventh book for anyone)!

ahhh I guess I wasnt original in putting five foot nine on 3 words :(

I'm sure USC Admissions has seen all kinds of answers. I wouldn't say that Quick Notes section is a make or break deal, but rather to allow the applicant to relax for once on the application and put what he/she really thinks without stressing about it. But, of course, be sensible as to what might constitute bad taste or bad language. When I applied, I put honest answers while infusing some humor into my answers.

Oh, and you ALMOST ruined the seventh book for me. I decided to finish off the book before I logged on here. Whew. Close call.

Humor is usually good in this sort of thing- it shows that you have a personality. It isn't necessary, but it is nice!

Actually, last year i put something about orgasms in my quote section, and i still got in shrugs I'm sure the admin people got a kick out of it haha

I know a girl who put "Accepted by USC" in the describe yourself in 3 words section. That takes balls. lol... She got in tho, so I guessed it worked. lol

^ Lol that's hilarious! hahaha
I don't remember what I put, i just remember what i put in describe yourself in 3 words and who's your favorite singer section...

the quick takes section is just supposed to be a fun, spur-of-the-moment thing... the part of your app that you don't stress over, the part that let's your personality shine through.

and NOOO! something tells me you just ruined the 7th book for me. i'm still working on finishing the 6th :( i've been doing so well at avoiding spoilers.

yep quick takes should be fun, i guess usc placed it there to test how witty a person can be.

for the 3 words i wrote: unassuming street philosopher

must've worked!

amen! I wish I had one of those too!! nobody believed me...T_T but I was right too high five
facebook group names are spoilers now so I suggest everybody to finish the book quickly... like all these random facebook groups with someoneso loves someone so RIP someoneso etc...

OP, I love your 3-word description. Priceless.

yeah... dont take the quick takes too seriously. i pretty much did and now i wish i had been a little more relaxed about them

haha. Those are pretty witty.

I was pretty humorous myself in my past application.

The part where i was asked about my special talents or uniqueness or whatevers, i put down my talents, blah blah and added that anything else more unique than that was my left foot. One of the longer toes that was "supposed" to be longer was actually shorter and that genetics misplaced it on my foot. haha

Heh, you guys make my quick takes look so dull and boring. Mine were so...like...serious...since I wasn't sure how much fun to have with them, really.
