<p>Does anyone know anything about this scholarship? The website says they strongly consider leadership and that 10 students are awarded.
I haven't seen anything about it here on CC.. does anyone know when recipients are notified?</p>

<p>Associate’s, Director’s and some additional Dean’s will be awarded in late March and early April. University Scholarships will continue to show up through mid to late April.</p>

<p>Trustee, Presidential, Dean’s, Director’s and associates are mutually exclusive - you receive only the larger of any awarded. Those may be combined with University Scholarships, outside awards, alumni scholarships, Town and Gown, etc.</p>

<p>Not really “out of the running,” you have already received a larger scholarship so, though they probably would LOVE to award one to you, they can’t. :)</p>
<p>Do keep an eye out for the University Scholarships - they will appear from late March through late April in amounts from $1,000/year to $5,000-ish/year. They CAN be added to awards you have already received as can departmental awards (awarded by the various departments to accepted students).</p>

<p>Hmmm… they do have Associate’s as $12,500 in the brochure. I was remembering it as $10,000 - must be inflation! They don’t even list Director’s in the brochure, and I have seen reports of Director’s from $4,000/year to $12,000/year.</p>
<p>I have not heard of Dean’s recipients receiving an Associate’s - the most common double award is the NMF Presidential plus the Dean’s or regular Presidential. But I have not heard of everything, so who knows!</p>
<p>The furor tends to have died down by the time all the acceptances are in hand so we don’t get reliable results on the later-awarded scholarships - I would love it if someone tried tracking the University Scholarships this year - I have seen many reports of those awarded other USC Merit scholarships (Trustee, Presidential, Dean’s, Director’s) receiving University Scholarships to stack with them in April, and it would be interesting to see percentage-wise how likely that is.</p>
