whose applying this year?!?? are you guys done with your app?

i'm applyiing...not done with app yet.....too many essays

yah there are a lot of essay for the supplement. way more than the other colleges im applying to.

This is actually one of the few BS/MD programs I am NOT applying to. The essays + being so far away from home turn off any chance.

Good luck everyone that applies. I've heard this program is one of the hardest to get into.

even harder than the notorious rice, northwestern, and brown? i doubt it.
do you guys know any idea about the transcript part. it says it should be included with the supplement; so do we go to the school and get a copy to mail it with. i know for undergrad usc, we had form 8 which sent the transcript.

yeah you have to get your school to mail the transcript again for what is the keck school of med? idk im not applying so dont jump on me if i got the name wrong

I heard that this program accepts like the most random selection of people. I also heard that this program doesn't select the top people. For example, my sister got accepted into HPME and PMM, but she did not get accepted into this program. Also, this other girl I know got accepted into HPME, PLME, Rice and Baylor, PMM, Boston University med program, and Harvard, but USC didn't accept her. Thus, I think that USC BA/MD program is kinda random.

It's not random. USC weighs your interview more than most schools. They say that on their website to dispell any rumors.

USC...that's cool. They have an awesome football team.

USC med prog is pretty difficult to get into I hear. Last year at one of my interviews, one of the dads was telling me how his son's friend got rejected from USC with a 2300, 10 APs-5s on all of them, and 3 800s on Sat 2s. brutal.

i hope i at least have a shot on the interview.

I wish other schools counted the interviews more, lol, I have such mediocre stats

I'm applying....hopefully I have somewhat of a shot...

amen......

madamebovary, I was on this site last year, and hearing of all the people last year who got into HPME, PLME, etc. I do not remember a SINGLE person that got accepted into the USC program.

im counting on rockin out the interview to make up for my mediocre stats too matrix. apparently im personable to the max. but yeah, i like people. i like interviews (because i talk about myself, hahahaha). nuff said.

...ironic that i like people so much. i want to go into research rather than clinical practice.

do you guys know what we put for the cumulative gpa? is it unweighted or weighted?

i'm applying!

for those of you applying, what kinda medical experience do you have?

i was in a hospital once for 2 months after i got shot
lol jk
the regular volunteering n stuff
