Red Cross Club - 2 years, President

Theater - 6 years, Lead in the recent fall play, 7 other shows and musicals since 9th grade, expected lead in the upcoming musical

I applied Dec. 1st and its my number 1 choice!
PLEASE let me know my chances of getting into this school, and each program, and any other information will be apreciated!

(I also I applied to...)
UCLA
UC Berkeley
CU Boulder
U of Arizona
U of Central Florida

-Better chances at any of these?

The University of California schools seem to accept very few out-of-state students, at least on a percentage basis.

Berkeley, UCLA and USC (and any top 30 school), will raise an eyebrow at the 27 ACT score… then look to see if other parts of the application make up for it. You’re fine for the other three.

I think you have a pretty good chance at USC, actually. They came around to my school and noted that they’re not looking for well-rounded students–they’re looking for a well-rounded student body. Since a lot of your EC’s seem to reflect leadership skills, commitment, and passions, they may make up for your low ACT score.

Hey everybody! I just wanted to update this feed with the results of my admissions. I did apply to all 6 of those schools, and was admitted into all but USC.

More stats:

1690 SAT (not submitted)
580 SAT 2 Physics
580 SAT 2 Literature

I will be attending UCLA in the fall! :)
