Ahh but I know USC is so selective. Where do I stand? USC is my dream school, so your opinions will really benefit me. Any recommendations (retaking the SAT, more clubs, etc.)?

First of all, ask this on the USC forum, there’s likely a few people there who can give you input from personal experience. The above link shows the averages for the 2011 entering class (the stats for the 2012 entering class should be out hopefully within the month). Your GPA is a shade low and your ACT is ‘average’ for admits. But throwing in your IB rigor and I think you’ll have a good chance. As for the School of Cinematic Arts there are a number of additional submissions that play into that decision including a portfolio; though I suspect your experience and awards also give you a fair chance. Again, ask this in the USC forum.
