@JustWannaKnow11 lolz I have the same SAT score as you but a lower GPA. Laters, USC!

earlier reaction from @lanawinters -
I’VE BEEN ACCEPTED HERE IN MINNESOTA!!! For fall term at Viterbi! This is unreal. I saw the mailman pull out a gold packet from his truck and screamed. I can hardly contain myself. Good luck to everyone else across the country today! If the financials work out I can’t wait to be a Trojan this fall!

That’s what I’m talking about - let it be their moment, however it happens! (But sly peeking acceptable)
Wishing a great moment for all of you.

Anyone in South Florida receive an acceptance today? I didn’t get anything.

Did anyone in Chicago receive an acceptance today?

@yangmaster thanks for funniest post of the day. Incase anyone missed it:

“Accepted to Computer Science (Games)! I live in Minnesota. This is such a relief especially after yesterday’s Ivy League (plus Duke and Berkeley) massacre.”

Was good for my daughter (who will go through this next year) to see that - you can only try your best and know it will all work out, and for you it did! Congrats, I have son in CS - loves it!

@FerrisBueller2 I live in South Florida also and haven’t received anything! Glad to know it’s not just me.

Thankfully, my daughter was accepted today into the USC School of Dramatics Arts as a Theatre major. We live in Tampa, FL, and the acceptance packet arrived today. For those keeping track of these things… her FA portal had shown that major when there was a glitch before and she had received the Open House Invite for SDA. So, at least in her case, Invite & glitch showing major = acceptance.

Good luck to those awaiting the news still… and Fight On, USC !!!

As I posted in the other thread, my son has been admitted as a Spring Admit. He was Undergrad/Undecided on the FA page. He was denied to both his first and second choice major. He may do one of the USC Study Abroad colleges in the Fall. He is happy and flexible.

Weren’t rejections letters and acceptance letters mailed at the same time? So just because you haven’t received something doesn’t necessarily mean a rejection, right?

@nicole966 We are in the western suburbs of Chicago.

@bps1002 I heard acceptances were sent via priority mail and rejections via first class mail, so different arrival times. :O

@nicole966 I haven’t gotten anything either and I’m from Chicago suburbs.

Welp, it was a false alarm. The package was for something else. I guess we’ll all find out tomorrow, but still I’m so disappointed.

no package today = almost certainly rejected, yes? (i know others in the area that got it)

ACCEPTED!!! from Wisconsin

Has anyone been emailed an acceptance? My D says one of her friends received an acceptance via email? I told her I didn’t think they were doing that.

did yalls mail come from normal mailman or ups like packages?

got in today from NJ. big yellow packet! good luck everyone and go trojans!!!

also has anyone that had the undergrad and major in portal been rejected?

^Not so far.
