@EddysGotMilk that sounds very interesting! i’d look into it…

Just got my acceptance letter! International student living in U.S.
World Bachelor in Business!

Has anyone from Kentucky/Tennessee heard anything?

@minnymom Can you share your son’s scores?

@alamemom Thanks, I appreciate it!

@tadepew i’m in ohio and no one near me has heard anything either so maybe its a regional thing

Am I right to assume that if we haven’t received anything in the mail by today then we have been rejected?

@henryshe- I just posted stats on the accepted students thread

Ugh, I’m at my moms house for the weekend and USC is supposed to send stuff to my dads. I still have to wait until tomorrow to find out… this will be the death of me

did anybody from arizona receive a letter yet?

Son accepted Viterbi-games! Should have NMF scholarship.
Daughter accepted Business Administration…

just got mine . From Seattle. ACCEPTED YO! had Major and class listed on FA hope that helps

@timfredo No I don’t think so! On the twitter page it said all decisions were sent first class. So regardless of your status you would be getting your decision at the same time.

@Bacapal Actually Acceptance packets were sent USPS PRIORITY mail. Rejections were sent first class mail. Priority mail has a guaranteed delivery date while first class could arrive at the same time but, more likely is 1-2 days behind.

@rgosula Awesome about your son! I called USC today and was told that although my son is a Spring admit and listed as an Undecided major, he can start right up in CS (Games). He just needs to fill out some paperwork and maintain a B average that first semester. It is much easier than we expected!

@GamerGal27 - so he gets his CS major??? FANTASTIC!

Yes it is great, but… Has to choose between UCLA, UCSD Regents, USC and he got waitlisted for Stanford. So 1 more month of agony or more…

@GamerGal27, congratulations to you. You are the most focused on this, it would be a shame if he didn’t get in.

@GamerGal27 Where did you see that? Every official page I’ve looked at has said First Class.

:) She saw it on her son’s admission packet :)

Thank you everyone. A few hours ago we both had a big HUH? over our heads. Now that we are learning more about what a Spring Admit means we are feeling really good about it. I was able to get through to a Viterbi Admissions guy and he was wonderful. He explained how the process works and what courses he recommends my son take in the Fall for a CS Games major. Then it’s just a matter of signing up for the courses in Spring, filling out some paperwork and making sure he has at least a B average. It appears that having it as the second choice basically meant he wasn’t even evaluated for it. But he was still able to get into USC despite that. Makes me feel even better about the school!
