We have a front door cam that all of us can see via app. So for us, the mailbox moment may be a notification alert on the app. Gotta love technology!
@hamparyanmomager omg that is unbelievable and is getting me all wound up, so don’t want to do that to you! But wow, that is truly disappointing. They just put so much into kids getting them, I would think they would want to be sure he had one. My guess is if he would have pushed or gone in someone would have done something, but a student would never do that - just us crazy parents! Oh well, they just end up in a box anyway.
Good thoughts coming your way!!!
@ZEYNEPP what were your stats?
Accepted, Palisades about 30 min West of SC
Way to go @fighton34! With a name like that you had to, right?!
Just curious, what does the rejection letter look like/say? I can’t seem to find one anywhere online.
While it is of course a natural temptation to post stats or request stats from those admitted, please just keep in mind that there is so much more potentially to every individual’s application packet… GPA, Rank, Test Scores, ECs. Essays, demographics, geography, potential creative or performance or athletic skills, potential special circumstances, etc.
By Sunday, 55,750 applicants will realize that they were not admitted to USC. Many will have stats that they perceive to be superior to some admitted and be naturally bitter as a result. Just keep in mind that only those few who actually reviewed these application packets in full know the full scope and nature of why an applicant succeeded or not.
And… Congrats! @fighton34
It’s a regular letter - I have the text somewhere, will look.
Someone start the ACCEPTED STUDENT STATS thread please
@Rohael SAT: 1440 (780 math, 600 wr), our GPA system is different than us: (92/100)
Again, I’m not sure if I got accepted, I just have the information from DHL…
@Rohael sorry 660 wr i meant
can someone post the link to the portal? I want to make sure my account is ready and set for when they update the portals over the weekend!
Does anyone know how long it takes for decision packages to reach India?
I know I shouldn’t be this nevous since my son is applying RHP and this is just “testing water” and we’ll definitely do it again next year since my son will be a NMSF. My son is 16 and not mature at all but when I asked him why he wasn’t nervous last night, he said the decision had already made and there was nothing you could do with it. I’m a person with low confidence and always think the worse but knowing that @CADREAMIN and @WWWard would be here next year for moral support is a big comfort for me.
@pdxtigermom You are so sweet - wishing you the best. He is bound for great things, no question! Hope all your dreams come true!
Who else got the package already?
I live in Las Vegas and I am on the Day 2 mailing zone/schedule, but is there any chance that I could receive something in the mail today given that LV is only about 4 hours from USC?
