will people in the east coast area (NJ) classify as part of the 2 day time zone?
@abpuma where do you live?
Are rejection letters and acceptance packages sent out at the same time? Also is it true they send international letters first?
@awkwardambition India
As most will be facing disappointing news in the coming days, just try to keep it all in perspective. Steven Spielberg was rejected from the University of Southern California (SCA) three times. He was also rejected by UCLA. Now there is a building bearing his name on the USC campus.
Others among the rich and famous to face similar disappointment…
News Broadcaster Katie Couric – Smith College
President Obama – Swarthmore College
Billionaire / Business Icon Ted Turner – Princeton and Harvard
Actress Tina Fey – Princeton
Senator John Kerry – Harvard
President Truman – West Point
Actor Tom Hanks – MIT and Villanova
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia – Princeton
Writer Isaac Asimov – Columbia
News Broadcaster Tom Brokaw – Harvard
Billionaire / Business Icon Warren Buffett – Harvard
Hopefully you get the point. No single decision/rejection will have an affect on your future prospects unless you allow it to be so…
Good luck as you wait. But if disappointing news comes, simply create a path toward greatness elsewhere…
I GOT IN!!! So did my twin sister!!! Anyways we’re in Italy but my nanny checked the mail at my house and called us when the white boxes arrived. We live 15 miles from campus. I’m so blessed and good luck to everyone!
@iloveavocados, we are in a suburb of Atlanta and it took two days in January. Some parts of rural GA could be 3. Good luck!
I’m in dallas which is in the 3 day zone. The DFW area is so big is there any way I could get it in 2 days? Most of east texas big cities like Houston are in 2 day zone
If you live in SoCal and didn’t get a white box today does that mean you were rejected?
I live in GA which is a two day zone, but I have the message “There is a mailpiece for which we do not currently have an image that is included in Today’s mail.” on my informed delivery page. I highly doubt that it’s for USC, but for those people who do live in a one day zone and are curious about whether or not they’re getting mail from USC, I believe that a message similar to that should be on your ID page since the acceptance packet is too big to be scanned.
Also, for those people who just signed up for informed delivery today and it says that you have no mail, that’s because it takes the next day or so for mail to start showing up on the site.
Congrats to you both @ftfo2022! And how fun to be in Italy!
Thanks.
I live in SoCal and didn’t get a white package, is it safe to say I got rejected?
Given the inconsistencies of USPS, I would not abandon hope until the portals update.
Has anyone’s Application Portal message changed?
Mine shows Current Status: Sent
It didn’t show this yesterday
@lmsterp East coast (NJ) is in the two day zone. However, USPS is a little backed up because of the latest storm. If you do not get something tomorrow, do not lose hope. Could be Monday or Tuesday but you will already know because of the update on the portal. Good luck.
Holy crap! Son in at Thornton! His first choice! We are in the LA area.
@abpuma Mine shows the same too!!
I got in woohoo! Followed the mailman up to the mailbox lol
My mom texted me a picture of my white box! Got it about 30 minutes ago. From Long Beach (SoCal). I will post my stats later. I am so excited! Fight on!
