Do not be disheartened if you did not get accepted to USC class of 2022.
Many with stellar stats will be denied.
Your success is not determined by a school. You are in control.
USC President Nikias said in his speech at the Trojan Family Weekend last October that for the class of 2021:
“We turned away 4,000 freshman applicants with straight-A’s in high school. We also turned away 5,200 applicants with standardized test scores in the 99th percentile.”
@jtmoomoo I don’t believe anybody here that has applied to USC from my school has received news yet. Perhaps the letters/package was delivered a bit late here? I guess we’ll just have to find out via portal…
@18mddog Don’t say that! Sometimes the mail is just weird, but I’m wondering why do you personally prefer USC over UCLA?
@HappyTurtle333 I submitted schedule e form on Wednesday and they accepted it on Thursday but then I submitted the identity doc on Thursday and it still hasn’t been accepted

Got accepted into USC for NGOs and Social Change major. Was rejected from UCLA. That’s how we do it. We get the rebound and slam dunk it.
From CT and got into UCLA and Emory but still hoping for USC. No word yet
rejected received my rejection letter in the mail- I live in Carlsbad/San Diego area.

accepted: UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCSC, USD, UCD, SDSU, Cal Poly Slo, LMU, SCU, etc.

No word in Portland yet for anyone wondering; no need to worry though, it is day 3 zone. Bummed i waited all this time in anxiety just to have the stupid portal update.
@novahhhh Thanks (: Nothing is final until the portal update tomorrow, I guess. Since I was a kid I’ve been in love with USC, the sports, and the vibes on campus. UCLA is just too big for me (not that USC is small, and I don’t like small schools either but UCLA is just massive) and I’ve heard many flaws from friends that I have who go there, especially as out-of-state students.
