Got my white box/acceptance! I’m from Houston, Texas, and it was just delivered! 1430 SAT (taken once), valedictorian, 6.5 GPA. Probably still going to Notre Dame, though, lol

Socal here. 2 hrs till mail comes to my house and my USPS says theres nothing. Idk what to think now
Here are the numbers: 64000 applications, for a freshman class of 2800, with a 13% admit rate - 8100.
The rest of the numbers around straight-A and 98th percentile stats says “most”. Vague, at best.

Getting very worried here in the northeast (I’m in a suburb about 1 hour away from the closest city). I’m in a 2-day zone and got nothing today… Really hitting hard that this probably means rejection to my dream school. I was admitted to UCLA, but I don’t even care because I wouldn’t go there over USC in any situation…
My mail came early though (around 10 AM?) so I’m thinking my only glimpse of hope is if the package wasn’t sorted in time to be sent out to me today… Not too confident anymore, but still holding on until the portal update tonight.
A HUGE congratulations to everyone being admitted, though. I wish I could be in your place, but I know that all of you worked just as hard and deserve your spots - USC certainly saw something special in you!

I GOT IN!!! Recieved package in Jersey Shore. Literally screamed and cried in front of the mail man lol! This is literally a dream come true!! In a way now I am glad I got rejected by basically all my other schools because it made this moment all the more special. Don’t lose hope all those who are waiting… SAT: 1560, GPA: 3.85 UW, 4.6 W, Awards at state and regional level, stellar recs, really good essays (in my opinion), I also emailed the office of admission telling them how desperately I wanted this lol. Finally I feel like all my hard work paid off. Proud to call myself a Trojan

@CADREAMIN @WWWard You guys seem to be USC experts so I was wondering if you could help me with a financial aid question. I got an email from USC’s Financial Aid Office the day before decisions were sent out that I was missing something so I sent it in and then my FAST account updated a couple hours later saying it was complete. Could this have been a good sign since the email came a DAY before admissions were sent out?
