Dornsife - ACT 33-34 Superscored, W GPA 4.85, average - above-average ECs (NHS president, MUN, independent research), great common app main essay, standard supplement, good letters of rec!! Now I am going to have to decide between UCLA and USC.
Any idea as to how to go about that?
Rejected. Wasn’t expecting to get in, but still upset because USC was my top choice

My D rejected, ACT - 34(superscore 35), SAT 2 - 800,800,790 (M,P,C). Toefl - 118. Applied engineering. International indian.
@chrys1 Congrats! We had that choice a couple times and you can see which way we went. Both great schools, do you like red or blue better?
Whenever I log in, only “Application Status” and “Submit Documents” are available. When I check application status, I have no new letters at all, only the scholarship rejection letter from January. The tab says “Denied Freshman”, so is it safe to say I’m denied?
if you are denied freshman, yes you are 100% denied.

Lol I got into every UC that I applied to (UCB, UCLA, UCSB, UCDavis, UCIrvine) and a scholarship to CMC … My dad’s uncle donated a building … met with the Dean at Marshall… Still rejected HAHA it’s okay tho bc I’d rather go to a UC anyway. Good luck everyone!
There is so much of this process that makes no sense. When you have peace with that, you will have peace.
Ahh sucks :(. @caliboundplz2022 does your website look exactly like mine? And for people who were denied, did you guys get a letter?
They posted financial aid would be out on 27th. We will see if it goes as smoothly as this process.
Rejected. First choice. Wrote letters to admission and everything about how I wanted to go there and it was my #1 choice. I got As and Bs (one C one semester) freshman and sophomore year. Visited usc, fell in love with it, and did a complete 180. Finished with straight As junior year and straight As senior year with four APs.
I’m also a business owner (LLC established), and a public realtor for a nationally ranked Gymnastics Club. I’ve volunteered with a local dog rescue since I was 7, and have organized food and blanket drives. During my sophomore year, I produced a full length documentary on my school’s cheer team.
I’ve never felt more hopeless and defeated in my life. I’m in at decent schools but no where I felt at home like USC. We were willing to pay full tuition too.

Really don’t know where it went wrong… kinda stunned. Luckily I’ve been accepted into two other great schools-University of Michigan and Villanova- along with some others. Congrats to all that were accepted!
