@boxerluvr in the same exact boat… really sucks
@boxerluvr Don’t let any school make you feel hopeless and defeated (at least for more than a few minutes, I get it). Obviously USC’s loss. I know cliche’s suck, but everything really does happen for a reason, you will be somewhere years from now and know it worked out just the way it should have. But for now, it blows. It is hard, I am sorry. But with a bio like that, I have to believe you have other great options. You sound like a fabulous person. Make it great wherever you go.
This may have tripped you up, but do not let a college rejection define you. Hugs.
My portal changed and no longer has the “Check Application Status” button. It now simply has three options: “Respond to a communication from USC,” “Join our mailing list,” and “Sign up for a campus tour.” What do I do?! It worked when the scholarship update came in January.
is TTP even worth it? like will it give me guaranteed transfer admission or just a way of stringing rejected applicants along further. I am happy that I got ttp and in no way complaining but still… is it worth it?
Congrats to all that got in! Best wishes for all of you - regardless of where you end up. I was super impressed at how supportive you all were to each other on here. That says a lot about your generation - we are counting on you! Enjoy these four years wherever you spend them - they go sooo fast.

35 ACT
4.0 UW GPA
3 Year Varsity Baseball and Football
ASB and NHS Vice President
5 AP Classes (wish I’d taken more)
Essay could have been better, I suppose.
@CADREAMIN do you know any solutions to my problem?
@CADREAMIN Thank you. I see the layout update now! Just checked out the admitted student events and would appreciate any insight you may have on the different types of events, as well as which ones are the best/most helpful.
@seattle4. Give it time. Things are still unsettled but it will come back to normal prob by morning.
Anyone else with high stats not get TTP? I didn’t and I had a 1510 SAT and 3.78 unweighted
Accepted!

@candylover132 it depends. You can just use it as an insurance plan incase you go somewhere and don’t like it. But you need to do the meeting and “act” like you are committed to it. But risk is that it takes away from the school you go to if you assume you are leaving after a year. Some people know all they ever wanted is usc so for them it is great. But you may go to another school and love it, and forget about it.
So it depends on your other options and what they mean to you. There is a thread on TTP that may be helpful to read through.
I’m thinking of writing my appeal, driving 7 hours to usc, deliver it and tell them that I drove 7 hours to say that this is where I’m going to be this fall.
Would this be a total embarrassment ??
Yep. 1550 SAT 4.7 GPA straight out rejected no TTP
@CADREAMIN I think red may be the way to go!!
Is the campus of USC really located in a bad part of town? If so, is it safe to walk around?
@seattle4 I’m also having that problem, suggestions?
rejected, international student. Either way didn’t expect to get admitted :((
@seattle4 that happened to me and my dad called the admissions office and it turns out that somewhere along the line my portal account ended up under my mom’s email so my email didn’t open the actual portal. Maybe try one of your parents’ emails and if that doesn’t work just call the office and they can figure it out!
Congrats to everyone who got in!
Looks like I won’t be attending USC, sigh really thought it was a great school for me
Bye guys!
