Will the packages for international students be sent out first? Or do they all go out at once?
Because we have seen them arrive on day 2, there is suspicion they may get out a day or two ahead of others. But for the most part, internationals won’t get them before portal update. They are sent DHL.
Hi guys! Long time lurker new poster. USC is my dream (I’m sure you all understand lol), and I just wanted to say thank you for all the helpful info! My birthday is on the 26th so it’d be amazing to get accepted around then. Trying not to get my hopes up though, I’m a solid candidate but certainly not the best. Good luck these next couple weeks!!
@CADREAMIN @davy901 if the international letters are sent by DHL, recipients will get an almost immediate (next day at the latest) text message/e-mail from DHL telling them to expect a DHL delivery within the next couple of days. This is how it was with some other early acceptances for my D. So this is rather comforting when you expect acceptance but can be a bummer if things don’t work out.
I know that alumni interviews (where offered) do not usually mean much. But what about interviews with the actual admission officers at the college? My D and I flew all the way to USC for such an interview in November. Would it have any weight if it went well?
My D is so stressed out I feel helpless I can’t do much for her at this point She has been accepted at her safeties but USC is her top choice… There was no news for us in January, but we are still hoping.
Is that really the case? I went to a summer school at a T20 college two years ago and when they sent me some documents using DHL I didn’t receive any notification whatsoever!
@davy901 hmmm… I don’t know. Maybe it’s just the case here in Russia. They need signature upon delivery so they get in touch to ensure somebody is available to accept the mail.
Yeah, that might be the case. I had to sign the document though when it arrived but I don’t think I received a notification back then. Anyways, we’ll see! Does anybody know the approximate date as to when these packages will come out?

@Worried Russian Parent
Yes, the interview with an admission’s advisor from the school can be very important and influential. Sounds like you have done all you can, wishing you the best result!
Also, I don’t know how to get your whole name to highlight with the spaces - hmmm.
@CADREAMIN – try adding quotes around the handle, “worried russian parent” == @“worried russian parent”
Thanks!!! Always wondered how to do those.
@CADREAMIN thank you for the kind words Fingers crossed!
@CADREAMIN if it’s a rejection does it still comes in white box or just a letter?
Just a letter @Coopy1
That would be harsh if the rejection came in the same white box.
The wait is killing me!!!
Honestly there’s a 99% chance I’m getting rejected just based off my gpa and sat but I’m still weirdly anxious
@ucplsacceptme I think I have a decent chance but still facts
