Anyone else find it weird how some people in California are receiving their packages in 2 days, and not 1? But further states have gotten their packages in 2 days. I think I will just wait until the portal is updated, as there can always be a flaw with USPS and it can come later…
The only message I got was “This year’s applicants to USC were the best in university history: You have the highest test scores, highest grade point averages, and you are extremely well-rounded in your extracurricular pursuits. You are a stellar group of applicants. “
@liaaa has your portal updated? You won’t know until your portal updates what your decision is.

What’s happening this is so chaotic and scary
everybody got that @liaaa you won’t find out for sure untill your portal updates
@justanotherstudent2023 USC apparently is rolling out admissions so some people are getting application updates before others
@faithshaunaaa I have followed the TTP process for four years. Not a single student who completed the USC requirements were denied admission as Sophomores. I do however know several students who did not meet the stated requirements that were denied admission.
I like to take Reddit’s word with a grain of salt, but over there they’re saying only internationals have updated portals. Can someone confirm/deny this?

@liaaa we’re not sure about that, some rejections may just be coming out later than others. But, hopefully no status update does mean getting in 
@Cattyy do you know if they will be rolling out till 5pm? or will it take till tomorrow
@cattyy is that normal? How is it decided whose gets rolled out first? I’m so lost I thought usc was just gonna update everyone’s at the same time like most other schools
@itsacrapshoot I also applied for the BFA in acting so I don’t know how this applies

Newly Admitted Freshman Applicants: The USC Housing application will be open at 9am (PDT) on Wednesday, March 27th. You will receive an email by March 26th with your login information.
I do recommend, even if you are not sure if committing to USC, to go ahead and post the minor housing deposit… usually just $55 or so… to reserve your place in line.
