Admission Decision Timeline
First-Year Applicants:
Admission decisions will be mailed on March 21. Decisions will be available online March 24 in the USC Applicant Portal.
Transfer Applicants:
You will be mailed an admission decision or a request for spring-term grades by May 31.
So no delay on acceptances - yay!
The first day delivery is bigger if they get them out in morning of 22nd rather than afternoon, so we will watch their twitter and see when trucks are packed and off.
SoCal will get them March 22 (Somehow San Diego is often two days though)
Major metros and tons of people around the country on the 23rd
Everyone else on 24th (unless you are part of that USPS percentage discussed earlier that gets packages late!)
Time for portal update has been just after midnight for years on they day they say they are posted, but they changed it up for merit this past January and it was mid-day. So time may remain a mystery. Hopefully our insider will confirm a time for us!

Recently they have posted when packages are mailed. So that day or day before. However, before last year they use to come several days before. USC may want to get good news out as fast as they can this year (thinking as a PR person here) so maybe they will return to previous years - here’s hoping. So I would plan by 21st but hope they kick them out ASAP!

www.college-kickstart.com says they’ll mail by Mar 22 and post on Mar 25. Kickstart has been pretty accurate so far this year.

@SlimJim005 - That’s last year’s info. The middle column (which is blank for USC) is this year’s notification dates.
This is so strange…my friend’s daughter checked her portal yesterday and it says welcome/admitted, etc. - she sent me screen shots and it is exactly like what we had last year. I know USC never releases via portal first so this must be a serious glitch…right?
