Any advice?

how do the financial costs to you and your family compare? Our S applied to both schools as an engineering major and got significant merit from USC and none from BU, so chose USC.

Have you visited each U? What are your and family’s impressions of each?

I’m an international student, didn’t get aid from either place and costs are similar.

BU would probably be easier to live in, and it’s more research oriented while USC seems a lot more prestigious.

Which is more well-known in your country?

Both are known, but USC is more common amongst engineering students than econ

USC is very good if you plan on working with the entertainment industry or high tech. In addition, it has a real campus (BU doesn’t, but it may not matter to you at all!)
