I'm am an international student, prospective freshman.
I've been accepted into the University of Southern California (USC) and Boston University (BU), and I would like to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Psychology during my undergraduate years.
I'm really thorn between the two schools as both of them possess great prestige and offer good programs for my intended majors.
USC seems to be one of the top schools in the west coast, whilst BU a pretty decent one in the east coast, yet it (BU) has offered me a half-tuition scholarship (about 20,000$ per year) if I choose to attend it.
I'm an international student, and I've never set foot in the U.S., so I would like to hear any advices you can give me upon choosing the university that can offer me the best career opportunities.
Thanks in advance ^^

Both offer great opportunities…

How much would USC cost you versus BU? And how much is cost actually a factor for you?

What climate would you prefer? Boston offers summers that are just as hot as LA’s, but freezing temperatures and snow from November through March.

Los Angeles is a bigger city than Boston, with both being sort of spread out.

Where are you from? Do you plan to visit home a few times a year? If so you might want to choose the school with the shorter plane ride (Getting across the United States alone is about 300 dollars one-way and 6 hours on a plane)

I’m from NY but I am attending USC and I can say that USC is more prestigious than BU and if you plan to stay in the US you might have a better time finding a job from USC because their networking is so huge on the west coast.
