So was attending recent admitted students day which was great and saw that the engineering school does not have industrial engineering. My son has was admitted in electrical engineering which he how he applied to all colleges as he was undecided last Sept/October but thought this major was close to what he wanted . After all the admitted student days we attended and wonderful information we received he is most interested in industrial engineering with a business minor if that is possible… So he has the scholarship and capstone honors so we were very excited until we saw no industrial engineering . Reached out to USC who quickly and nicely responded that industrial is similar to mechanical . Having a different engineering issue at OSU and will reach out in that forum. Top two picks and now trying to figure out solutions . Have reached out to admissions at both schools and were very nice and I am sure they are very busy. Both schools admission advice is to come to orientation this summer and work it out and of course we want it worked out before we commit to a school and pass on scholarships. I am kinda stuck .Appreciate any thoughts .Thanks.
