<p>I am currently a sophomore at Ball State University studying telecommunications, and I want to transfer to USC my junior year. Specifically, the film critical studies major. My current GPA is a 3.533, and I have held a job for the last 4 years working 40 hours a week during summer and vacations. Im an Illinois resident. What are my chances at getting into USC? What about the film school?</p>

<p>the average gpa for USC transfers is 3.4, so you have a chance. they're also going to ask for your high school transcripts (and maybe SAT). it's so incredibly difficult, tedious, and expensive to get into the film school, but give it a shot. get great reccomendations and make sure you have an awesome portfolio and essays/personal statements.</p>
