I'm trying to decide between LMU, Chapman, USC and UCLA for film production.

I'm looking for a program that will really let me be creative. I'm also looking for one where students aren't necessary competitive, but rather, they're close knit and they like to work together. I'm mainly interested in film production/becoming a director. I like smaller campuses where students are more on the liberal side.

Which of the schools I mentioned best fits this criteria?

First congrats on getting in to all those great schools! I don’t know too much about all the film programs, but I know USC’s is supposed to be good (I’m a CLAS applicant, so not 100% sure on that). I have a friend at Chapman who absolutely loves it there and talks about how the program is so personalized and how everyone is open with each other. Maybe that is the fit for you? Not sure but he’s super talented and super happy, so maybe give that a shot.

have you visited the campuses? i personally loved USC. sometimes the feeling of a campus is enough for people to know exactly where they want to be
