So I had a 3.9 but this semester completely screwed me over & I ended up with a C in calculus…my expected gpa for this semester is a 3.68-3.7. USC emailed me requesting spring grades…I held a position in a club, had a job, volunteered, and was part of the honor society…what are my chances of being accepted?
I hear you, man. My friend (who I am really hoping to join me this fall at USC) is going through the same issue. He got a C in science course, unrelated to his major. He called them today and the woman he spoke to was very nice. She said if you did your best, then that C is your A and if you feel the need to explain in a letter why you got a C, then feel free to do it! So it is not over for you, just be confident and hang in there!
@RAHforHEE wow thank you! But my major is business & unfortunately calc is related to it:( don’t they look at the cumulative gpa though? Or do they specifically pay attention to the courses related to my major?
