USC Housing Guarantee

Hello everyone!

I had a few questions about USC housing. I've searched the forums and found some great information about the types of housing available at USC, but I am curious as to how hard it is to get on campus housing after your freshman year (which is guaranteed)? If I don't get on campus housing, will I receive financial aid to help pay for off campus living? I've seen some posts indicating that most people usually go off campus after their sophomore year. Thanks in advance!

Sophomore housing is guaranteed but there is only one building on campus so you’d most likely be living off campus but in university housing. After sophomore year, you can either put yourself on the waitlist for housing or live off campus in a house or apartment. Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer to your financial aid question
