Right now, I have the Trustee Scholarship at USC, and I have in-state tuition at USC, so costs are similar. I have a feeling that McCombs BHP is a better program than Marshall, but I think if I find that Business isn't right for me, USC has better programs on the whole. Being in Texas vs California doesn't matter to me.

Wow I'm in a similar boat, except so different at the same time.

I've been accepted to BHP with merit money and in addition, only having to pay in-state tuition.

Here's the thing, I really, really, really want to go out and experience a new area of life instead of going to college with half my high school. I didn't even apply to Marshall because business isn't what I really want to do, heck I don't even really know why I applied UT Business. Just keeping my options open I suppose...

Would love to hear some opinions of OP's question

I'm kinda in the same boat as OP since I'm not completely sure I want to do EE engineering either. I'm also accepted to USC and UT Austin (and UT Austin only gave me a $1000 scholarship).

i chose usc over ut b/c
ut is only giving me about $6,000 to $7,000 a year, and i pay in-state as well.

i got into both engineering honors and their natural science honors
i will lose $3,000 if i don't do engineering, but i don't want to do just engineering.

thus i chose USC.
i have the trustee as well.

plus, ut is heck ugly (from what i have heard from many ut grad/attendees)
and too many kids from my school go there, it's kinda creepy.

Yeah, it's why I didn't apply to UT. Everyone I know from high school will be there all because of Texas' "Everyone in the top ten percent gets in!" rule. =/

Reasons to pick SC...
