<p>It was another exciting day for the USC School of Cinematic Arts. The Katzenberg Center for Animation was formally dedicated. Dream Works Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg helped finance and equip the brand new four story Italianate animation building.</p>

<p>In the center will be classrooms for learning visual effects, 2-D and 3-D animation and stop-motion. All equipment, computers and technology are the most advanced available.</p>

<p>Special guests at the ceremony were George Lucas and Jack Black.</p>

<p>USC offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Animation and Digital Arts in the School of Cinematic Arts.</p>
