<p>The major part of the cinematic arts complex at USC in Los Angeles has been completed. It was announced that additions will be made to the already huge complex. These are slated to be completed by August 2010.</p>
<p>Currently under construction are a four level, 38,000 sq. foot animation and digital arts building and three additional production buildings that will house four studio-sized soundstages and a production services center.</p>
<p>Already completed are the George Lucas and Steven Spielberg buildings which include eight screening rooms, 10 classrooms, six editorial labs, 3 mixing rooms, 12 sound and picture editorial rooms, 19 conference rooms, a Foley stage, automated dialogue replacement stage, student production office, faculty offices, exhibition areas, installation space, outdoor spacious patio and cafe.</p>
<p>The entry landscaped courtyard features a bronze statue of Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., one of the founders of school. It was donated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.</p>
