USC Nobel Laureate Receives New Honor

<p>George Olah, USC professor and Nobel Laureate, has received a new honor from his native country, Hungary. On September 8th Profesor Olah was presented the Szechenyi-nagydij Grand Prize. It was given by Hungary in recognition of his outstanding contributions to academia worldwide.</p>

<p>Olah's distinguished career has been recognized with many awards and honors. He founded the Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute at USC in 1977. </p>
